hi this my formica journal including  formica montana  formica neoclara and on the shiping soon  are formica sudsericea  the formica neoclara where dug up as medium colony then lost a lot of workers in hibernation  :*(   but all 3 queens survived :yahoo:    

 

 

the diet of the ants is blood worm soup suger water  superworms   dubia roaches  caned meal worms  honey

February 16th 22 all colonys are alive and well formica Montana all colonys have 1 to 150 workers and most have brood 3 are in hibernation parasitic sp have 2 cocons 7 to 9 host workers formica neoclara has 9 to 13 workers 3 queens lots of brood and some lava pics soon

3-4-22  formica subsericea   my ants i got from tarheel ants came in yesterday   formica  subsericea  5-8 workers 2-3 larva 1 pupa  i feed them sugar water and a dubia pece  pics soon

Formica montana colony a doming very good 200 workers and lots of brood colony b good with lots of brood and 150 workers

4_20_22 bad news formica neoclara are down to 1 queen 0 workers formica subsericea fludid there test tube so i moved them to a new nest good news I{ dug up new formica montana colony today dead did not update that}

Formica sp. although sensitive are one if my favorite species. Mine always exploded in year two.
