took them out of hibernation  after 1 month they lost all but 3 workers

formica cf neorufibarbis 

found them in October  one bio and 3 parasitic workers 

formica neogagates group  one queen 5to7 workers divide them from a lager wild colony  both the  cf neorufibarbis and neogagates group 

where found in signal peak 

formica podzolica queen dead

The queen past away today
I think it is best I don't keep formica subsericea for a while every queen I have ever had of them has died

I think it is best I don't keep formica subsericea for a while every queen I have ever had of them has died

 

I have a 4 queen colony from last year. Other than that, I didn't keep them for years. They can feel you breathe ten miles away and they walk up the side of anything.

long time no see 2-27-23 new colony  i dug up a formica montana colony they are around 50 plus workers 

formica montana 

colony a

20to30 workers a lot died before hidernation 

they are coming out of hibernation in may 

i put them in on 1-10-23

colony b dead 

colony c 4 workers 

formica fusca group 

queen has eggs 

formica neogates will come out on 3-1-23

Formica neorufibarbis will come out on 3-1-23
