I decided to take down my terrarium and make an aquarium! Right now I only have three residents, all are mountain whitefish fingerlings.

The Whitefish all got eaten by my new 4 inch mountain pikeminnow! This pike minnow has a very nice color and is very hardy. I also introduced snails to keep the tank clean and they have started to breed!

It is a crime to make a journal without adding pictures  :D I've kept quite a variety of aquatic animals throughout the years and have even dabbed into aquascaping. One of my favorites is probably the Australian red clawed crayfish. Fun stuff!

Updates?
Keeper of:
Camponotus castaneus | 20-25 workers
Tetramorium Immigrans | 1,000+ workers (yes I gave them a brood boost don’t be salty!)
Aphaenogaster Rudis | 16 workers
Pheidole bicarinata | 50-60 workers

Ants are just better.

Yeah update!

Updates?

Well I will tell the entire story. So for the first month the Pikeminnow grew and was really healthy, then one day I found it caught in the fan for the filter, entirely dismembered. Now all that was left was my sea snails which had decided to reproduce, and when I mean reproduce, I mean reproduce hundreds. Now all I could see was minuscule black shells, which looked very disgusting so I decided to take this down until I decide to get more fish. Hope everyone has a happy New Year!

I'm back! I have decided to create a natural vivarium ( for those of you who have read my Ant journal, will know which colony inhabits this vivarium) and it is full of life already! This is a list of the inhabitants: one of my Liometopum Ant colonies, led by Queen Feyra,

A nice little springtail culture, and a bunch of mealworms. I am planning on adding some garden worms when everything warms up a little more, but for now I will try to keep you guys updated on this vivarium.

I created a five gallon vivarium and moved all the residents of the previous one, and I also added an Aphaenogaster colony from my Ant journal.

Anyways here are some photos of the vivarium:
