First update:
I got these ants two weeks ago from THA. It was a balmy 20 degrees out so I was very nervous for them to arrive. They came safe and sound and I moved them into their mini hearth. I gave them so fresh poppy and sesame seeds along with dandelion. They had some pupae that all enclosed so now it’s just a couple larvae. I hope the queen will lay eggs soon!

I highly recommend keeping them in a flat nest, with the heat on top of the nest. They won't gum up the glass as much.

Good thing that’s exactly what the AntAbode is. XDI highly recommend keeping them in a flat nest, with the heat on top of the nest. They won't gum up the glass as much.
