Do you think Xyloni and Invicta look alike ?

Found this queen in my pool, and she had already detached her wings. This happened about three weeks ago, and till this day, she has no larvae.

They look pretty similar, especially the minors. I've heard of fire ant control labs having to dissect the head to be sure of an ID. The queens are easy enough to tell apart though.

Ill be sure to compare them, but I think the coastal variety of Solenopsis Xyloni is a lot easier to tell apart with invicta then the desert variety.

She just died like..two days ago. On another note, I gave her infertile eggs to my solenopsis molesta colonies.
