Your colonies have many more workers than my mimicus colonies. Interesting.

These dirt set ups are so cool! Still hoping you’ll make more for sale. Can you explain how hydration works in the vase? Is it just water seeping into hydrostone below?

Update 12-14-2021

 

The big colony in the giant vase setup is doing really well. They have produced a lot and probably have over 500 hundred workers now. They like to dig down all the way to the bottom.

 

Here's a video where you can see how much they have dug. Unfortunately the chambers are not as clear as my M. mexicanus colony. There is a really good-sized brood pile in one of the chambers. I tried to show it in the video. You can also see they have quite a few repletes.
