How much and how often do you feed them? They are growing much faster than my Aphaenogaster.

Gave them some dandelion seeds and fruit flies. Tons of eggs, larvae, and pupae. The colony is doing very well.

Colony keeps growing. Lots of eggs, larvae and pupae. Still eating a steady supply of fruit flies, crickets, fish food flakes, dandelion seeds, and byformica sunburst.

Colony is still booming as ever. Will likely have to think of a even larger home for them in the coming months.

Okay, I am definitely going to have to get a new home ordered. These gals had a huge boom in population last month.

Good news, I finally ordered a new home for these gals. They sure need the upgrade too. It's become very hard to take photos of them.

Hoping to get the larger colony moved to their new nest this week.

So both colonies are doing great! The older colony are nice and happy in their new nest, and the second colony is growing nicely as well.

Species names are not to be abbreviated. Write A. occidentalis if you need to abbreviate.

These colonies are still alive and well. The big colony is enjoying their labyrinth, and the younger colony is moving into a new home.

I made a short on youtube recently of the older colony. The younger colony has settled nicely into their new home with lots of new brood.
