Need ID on this species, suspect possible Aphaenogaster?

Caught this Queen on September 3rd here in Oregon and originally thought it was another Tetramorium immigrans queen. However her workers arrived recently and they are about twice the size. These are the best photos I could manage with my phone. Might need to bust out the macro lens or my microscope.

Currently kept species

L. neoniger, P. occidentalis, C. modoc, C. novaeboracensis, C. vicinus, T. immigrans, A. occidentalis, S. molesta, P. imparis, M. kennedyi, M semirufus, F. pacifica, P. californica, M. ergatogyna.

 

Previously kept species

T. rugatulus, B. depilis.

 

Looking for

Myrmecocystus pyramicus, Myrmecocystus testaceus

Pheidole creightoni, Pheidole inquilina, Crematogaster coarctata, Crematogaster mutans

I think it is Aphaenogaster.

I think it is Aphaenogaster.

I think it's Aphaenogaster occidentalis. Just based on color and shape. But I would like to hear from others.

Use a light colored background, so the details of the ants stand out more.

I believe that is Aphaenogaster occidentalis.

They ended up moving into a mini hearth I hooked up as a impromptu out world. These are the best photos I could manage with my cheap macro lens.

Hi there! I went on a 6 month or so hiatus, in part due, and in part cause of the death of my colonies. 

However, I went back to the Sierras, and restarted my collection, which is now as follows:

Aphaenogaster uinta, Camponotus vicinus, Camponotus modoc, Formica cf. aserva, Formica cf. micropthalma, Formica cf. manni, Formica subpolita, Formica cf. subaenescens, Lasius americanus, Manica invidia, Pogonomyrmex salinus, Pogonomyrmex sp. 1, Solenopsis validiuscula, & Solenopsis sp. 3 (new Sierra variant).
