Picked up a massive Black crazy ant colony.
The pheidole Megacephala colony is doing good. I am going to make a journal now, sorry for the delay.

12/30/21

I came home to a massive fire ant colony. The colony has 30-40 workers now!! The queen has been busy. The brood are mostly eggs and larvae which is good because that means another wave of workers! This colony is doing okay s far and expecting more workers very soon. I'd say that they could have a couple hundred workers by Easter. Well i am so exited for this colony to grow to a thriving Fire Ant colony.    

Ill do another update next Thursday including pictures.

I THINK I'm ALMOST DEAD FROM STINGS.

No seriously my hands hurt. Colony is 1,000s of workers now and eats like every day now and are bunches of crazy phycopths. They fill a entire AC mini hybrid nest. And ANTdrew, you were right about having to change their liquid feeders without getting stung, its almost impossible. They have a massive brood pile that could be the equivalent size of 5 testubes.  SOOOO who wants videos?!

I hope you aren't letting workers escape alive because if the colony or even 1000 workers escape those workers can form their own worker colony and kill other ants and not be very contested since very few ants in New York can sting.
