I recently realized that I have clip-on macro lenses to take pictures of the ants, so here's a journal on one of my colonies.

This is my ca02 colony. They currently have 15 or so workers, and a decently sized pile of brood.

Update 11/8/2022
To be honest, I got bored of keeping ants for a while and neglected all my colonies, so this colony has stayed pretty much the same since last year, but they now have a sizeable brood-pile! I also got some extension tubes for my camera, and a home-made flash diffuser to take these pictures.

BTW, I got them from cocdeshijie and I've had them for about half a year now. They grew slowly, because for the first few months workers kept on running away without me noticing. I realized this, and bought fluon to prevent them from escaping.
