Looks like Pheidole pilifera.

Ants are Pets, not Pests.

-Camponotus sansabeanus

-Camponotus US-CA02

-Camponotus vicinus

-Formica podzolica

-Monomorium spp.

-Pogonomyrmex californicus

-Solenopsis spp.

Yeah, I don’t think there is xyloni there.

Yeah that's pheidole. I don't know how anyone could confuse it with xyloni or any true fire ant.

Not everyone is as experienced as you at identifying ants, so try to be understanding of those people.

Based on the image provided, I could see where both answers provided look similar. The thorax and minor head details definitely lean to the Pheidole pilifera.

Thank youuuuu

My favorite queens/colony’s:
Pheidole Tysoni, Selonopis Molesta, Brachymyrmex Depilis, Tetramorium Immagrians, Prenolepis Imparis, Pheidole Bicirinata

I'm probably wrong on this for I'm very high on sleep deprivation thanks to school and I think I'm beginning to hallucinate, but I think that's Pheidole pilifera.  If that is and I'm not tripping, OH BOY, I wish I had pilifera.  I'm at the tired point where I could rant for hours and pass out, so I'm just going to leave it as I think that's lucky.  Not sure about rarity down south.

Edit:  Yeah I'm very tired right now I forgot other people existed to ID before I did, my bad
