Definitely a worker, Camponotus sp.

Camponotus pennsylvanicus major.


Ants are Pets, not Pests.

Couldn't it be C. modoc? I know antmaps.org isn't always reliable, but C. pennsylvanicus isn't even listed as native to WA on there.
