Over the past few years, I've taken quite a lot of photos of my nicobarensis colony. I'm thinking of gradually posting them here. The first photos may be in poor quality due to the lack of a good camera.
Also the account seems to have a limit on the maximum number of photos so maybe I will go to blogs.IMG_1.jpg

Cool. How about some backstory on the colony?

I'm actually not that much of a storyteller. There were interesting and rather unpleasant moments. On this colony I experimented with protein feed and syrup to find what they mostly like. Once, 2/3 of the colony died because of bad honey syrup.
Thanks to them, I learned lots of tricks and subtleties.

You don’t need to write a novel. Just tell where and when you got the colony, how long you’ve had them, general care, etc. All good journals start like that.

If you're interested in care, it's pretty basic. As for food — roaches and syrup, and the nest must have gypsum that can be moistened. The only difference is that if you want the colony to grow good and fast, you need A LOT of protein, they'll consume it very quickly.

Apple Juice. The quality is a bit poor because I took this photo at night.
