Hi!

Just caught about a dozen Acropyga sp queens, all carrying their respective root aphids. Does anyone know if they are only able to survive off the roots of certain plant species? Or would most plant roots work ok.

I don't have much of an expierience with Acropyga queens and root aphids but I'll just tell you all I know right now: mustards and nasturtiums (honestly don't know if I spelled that right) attract root aphids, some plants like catnip, garlic, and chives repel root aphid, (doubt this will help tho, plus I got pretty much all of this from google, god am I dumb).

Been keeping ants since January of 2021

Always try new things, even if its hard, hard is not impossible. We are smart and it's good to be smart but not too smart for your own good.
