How to Prevent a Double Post

Double posts may occur during slow internet, or when the forum lags.

 

However, do not fear! There is one simple fix!

 

One must do a backflip, climb across a ceiling then climb up a chimney, and then, with all the agility of a professional gymnast, swing back to your computer by grabbing the top of the doorframe, and then, press the post button once. While it loads you can repeat the first 4 steps ONLY. DO NOT repeat the fifth step. It may create problems.

 

Please do follow the fifth step. It is truly very helpful.

 

*The poster is not liable for any injury in response to following these steps. DO NOT attempt the first four steps unless you have magical powers, or happen to be able to transform into a gecko. That would I suppose also fall under the magic category.

 

A far safer waiting method is clicking to another tab, such as YouTube, and watching a fun video that will make the loading time fly by.

 

I sincerely hope this tutorial was informative and enjoyable, and that no injuries occur.

Hi there! I went on a 6 month or so hiatus, in part due, and in part cause of the death of my colonies. 

However, I went back to the Sierras, and restarted my collection, which is now as follows:

Aphaenogaster uinta, Camponotus vicinus, Camponotus modoc, Formica cf. aserva, Formica cf. micropthalma, Formica cf. manni, Formica subpolita, Formica cf. subaenescens, Lasius americanus, Manica invidia, Pogonomyrmex salinus, Pogonomyrmex sp. 1, Solenopsis validiuscula, & Solenopsis sp. 3 (new Sierra variant).

In all seriousness, the best way to prevent a double post is press the button once and then refresh the page if the forum lags.

I just press the post button once and even if it takes time I wait, you can let the tab there and open another or do something else while waiting, its not that hard.
