Recently I obtained a colony of these beauties they have 100-200 workers and tons of majors, I moved them into a mini-hearth and they are happy-ish there, and since then the queen has been pumping out eggs

Nice! I'll try to think of some names.

Hope your colony does well! How big are mini hearths? Because I might get one but I'm not sure if my colony is big enough. And your colony has 100-200 workers.

mini hearths are used by some as founding chambers, instead of the usual test tube setup, with varying success. some people say to wait till 10-20 workers until you move them in, some put just a queen in there after they find her for her to start laying eggs in, and they're modular with other mini hearths and the fortress i think
