Does Aphaenogaster rudis exist on Montreal island? On antmaps.org it shows that there are five literature records and four museum records in Quebec. There are two records on the Lawrentian mountains north of Montreal, so technically Aphaenogster rudis can survive in Montreal. However, the only Aphaenogaster pictures I've found on bugguide in Quebec are all south of Montreal island near the U.S. border. Does this mean that this species does not exist in Montreal?

Aphaenogaster are definitely in montreal. I know people who have caught queens.

Aphaenogaster picea is definitely in Montreal, but I'm asking specifically about Aphaenogaster rudis because of they have more vibrant colours and are larger than Aphaenogaster picea. I would like to find a queen either this year or next year in Montreal.
