Does Aphaenogaster rudis exist on Montreal island? On antmaps.org it shows that there are five literature records and four museum records in Quebec. There are two records on the Lawrentian mountains north of Montreal, so technically Aphaenogster rudis can survive in Montreal. However, the only Aphaenogaster pictures I've found on bugguide in Quebec are all south of Montreal island near the U.S. border. Does this mean that this species does not exist in Montreal?
