my doa policy is that you need to take a video of unboxing first, but if the queen really is dead, i will send you another queen of the same species or we can talk out a bargain for different queens... kinda like credit for my store. for and example if you lose a $25 queen during shipping, you can either get the same queen, another queen of equal value, or i can just send you your money for that one queen back. 

 

for shipping, i do flat rate priority with usps, it costs 8.40 i believe. 

 

i can reserve some ants for you if you'd like

I have one successful that I bought of those and think they are Crematogaster depilis so yes a good species to have as they are not your typical black variety but a light orange to darker orange coloration.
