I just bought a Pheidole moerens colony and they are the cutest ants I've ever seen :D , sorry for the bad images I don't have a good camera and they are so small.

in person they are just tiny orange dots, they keep hiding in the messy cotton, can't wait to see their giant larvae pile

L. neoniger, P. occidentalis, C. modoc, C. novaeboracensis, C. vicinus, T. immigrans, A. occidentalis, S. molesta, P. imparis, M. kennedyi, M semirufus, F. pacifica, P. californica, M. ergatogyna.

 

Previously kept species

T. rugatulus, B. depilis.

I ended up brood boosting her and now she's starting to lay eggs again.

she ended up killing the first one I gave her, gave her another one and she might have killed it. There's a bunch of red stuff in the test tube and she ended up eating her eggs  :(

I didn't check up on her for a long time to reduce stress and to try to get her to lay eggs and I guess the honey I put in for her ran out, she tried to escape a few days ago and died today  :(
