Yesterday I was shooting pictures of bees in the flowers on my patio and I saw this

According to iNaturalist this could be one of two varieties of Leafcutter bee, a solitary predatory wasp of the genus Tachytes, or two other types of ground nesting wasp. My opinion of iNaturalist’s species identification AI algorithm is decreasing by the minute. I’m welcome to input from any interested entomological sleuth!

This actually looks like a type of Crabronid wasp to me.

Thanks, Square-headed wasp was one of the iNaturalist suggestions.
