1. Location of collection, Newark, Delaware; found 6 queens on my back porch

2. Date of collection (more important for ID's of queens). approx. 6/15/21
3. Habitat of collection (ie: desert scrub, oak forest, riparian, etc.). patio near edge of forest; also patio near open field
4. Length (to the nearest millimeter or 1/16th of an inch.) 6mm
5. Coloration, hue, pattern and texture : Brownish
6. Distinguishing characteristics: interesting body segment shapes (some trapezoidal/triangular when viewed from above); nanitics have banded gasters

I suspected these were Tetramorium immigrans when I caught them over a month ago, but that is me being cocky.  I am still new at this, I need affirmation (and perhaps a bit of humility if my "gut" is wrong).

Everything indeed lines up with Tetramorium immigrans but I would double check your measurements. Should be more like 9mm.

100% Tetramorium immigrans. There is no other species in your area that this could be.
