Queens I keep:
Camponotus sp.
Formica sp.
Unknown queen ant sp.
1 parasitic Formica queen!
You don’t need to make a thread for every ant you catch. I would put all these colonies in a single journal or post.

Update: The test tube that the colony lived in was getting really moldy, so I shined a light on them for a couple hours. They responded well and moved to the firebrick nest.
Forgot to mention this earlier, but I also obtained a Camponotus sp. queen that seems to be laying a lot of eggs.
