I just black lighted and i had caught 10 tapinoma sessile queens 1 solenopsis molesta queen and a pheidole californica queen. Well worth the 20$. It took a month for the black light to get here which made me miss lio flights sadly so i had to catch near a back yard light. Caught a few queens luckily. But overall it was well worth it to buy a black light!

I'm going out with a blacklight tonight to see what I can see. It rained lightly all day so I have high expectations. Wish me luck!!!

Would a blacklight work on a Bronx roof top 6 stories up?

Starting this July I'm posting videos of my ants every week on youTube.

I like to make relaxing videos that capture the joy of watching ants.

If that sounds like your kind of thing... follow me >here<

Probably not. Look into getting a portable power source and taking it to a greener area.
