Ant ID caught on 6/23/21 in Lakewood, CO

Queen caught on 6/23/21 in Lakewood, CO in an apartment complex with nearby grassy areas. 3/8" long, dark brown/black with orangish legs/antenna.

Thank you for the ID. One of my posts got doubled due to clicking the button twice. I replied to one of those, stating that it was an accident and that I was unsure how to delete one of the duplicates. The others are all separate ID requests for different queens.

 

Formica sp. Also, next time please put all your ID requests into a single post, you posted 5 threads.

What i mean is if you have many multiple ID requests at the same time for different queens, make a single post for all of them.

Also all the ones you posted are different species of formica, which further proves my point.
