3/8” hole in acrylic, 3/8” tubing entering this hole… Has anyone had any clever ideas for securing the tubing in the hole? I was thinking to push a small pin through it on the outworld-side. Between cats and our 5 year old my setups get bonked from time to time, and this connection appears to be the weakest link.

100% silicone will work. Ants can chew through hot glue in time. Learned that the hard way.

Ah thank you, and it should be pretty easy to clean away when I want to remove it.

Bonus: curing silicone will not harm ants. I’ve sealed gaps in full nests with Crematogaster, Pheidole, and Monomorium inside with no ill effects.
