1. Location (on a map) of collection: Monkton Maryland
2. Date of collection: July 8
3. Habitat of collection: on top of pool cover
4. Length (from head to gaster): 5mm
5. Color, hue, pattern and texture: brown head, orange thorax, and black gastor
6. Distinguishing characteristics:

8. Nest description:
9. Nuptial flight time and date: July 8th 8:35 am
Sorry for the bad photos she is pretty small and I am still figuring out this macro lense.
She looks like some type of pheidole but her head is a little small so I don’t really know

Pheidole? Her gaster definitely matches, But i've never seen a Pheidole sp. with her coloration. Good luck with her ID.

1X Solenopsis molesta 10 Workers (mono)
