Hey Minnesota anters!
I wanted to start a thread for us to coordinate in. Our anting season is about to touch off and it will much easier on all of us if we relay to each other when we find queens and discuss the exchange of queens in one place.

I'll be back here with any news of finds and available queens and feel free to make offer/brag about your finds here! Good luck out there!

I found a couple Prenolepis Imparis queens on Easter in Southeast MN.  It was sunny, little windy, and in the upper 70's that day.

Currently keeping Tetramorium Immigrans and Camponotus Pennsylvanicus in THA mini hearths.  I also have a couple Prenolepis Imparus queens in test tubes.

Found a prenolepis imparis queen on a walk today in the twin cities. Also, I've noticed parasitic lasius queens out in force.

Caught a formica queen over the weekend.  Also, I've been finding LOTS of tetramorium queens in my pool in the mornings.
