OK guys I don't know who else to share this news with but I found an internet deal on 4x8 sheets of Plexiglass for a really good price (roughly half of what I had planned on) and they cut it to your specs.   By machine.   Which means ultimate precision.    

Why plexi?   Well I'm building a pretty massive palludarium that will be 5 feet tall, 4 feet wide and 3 feet deep.   Because I'm a  maniac.   The "base" of it and the water feature will be a 55 gallon tank (thus the 4 feet wide) and it will house emerald tree skinks, community fish, bioactive crew, and whatever else I can manage to cram in there.   

The main goal is to start a breeding colony of emerald tree skinks to help stop their harvesting in the wild.    

Anyway,  SO EXCITED!!! I'm in full manic mode over this find and didn't know where else to share this while I'm at work.   I haven't been this excited since my kid was born.

OK so the deal I thought was amazing is still decent but... I need a much thicker piece of plexi than 0.03".  So if you up that to 1/4 inch it's like... 220.   Which... Still not an insane price considering they precision cut it for you.   But... way more than 47 bucks.  So we'll see.   

Still, a 4' wide, 3' deep, 5' tall palludarium for roughly 600 bucks is still a pretty solid price.  Including table/ stand.
