Leo's post got me inspired to start photographing what I have collected. It'll take me awhile since I am a bit critical of my photos and my computer is a potato. I also haven't ID'd them, so I need to start doing that too. lol

Looks like C. pennsylvanicus. Really great pics, btw. What do you use?

*deep breath*
Nikon D610 camera
Sigma 105mm macro lens

Raynox DCR-250 lens clip on
Neewer TT560 speed light and a cheap non name brand diffuser
Oben MFR4-5 macro focusing rail mounted in a vise

And then each photo is 10 - 50 photos stacked with "CombineZP"

 

The setup is a lot more capable than I am, but I am slowly getting better.

Do you have any tips on stacking photos? I'm not very good at it...

I've done less than 10 attempts at stacking before these, so I'm kind of winging it. So far I've found it's better to take too many pictures than not enough and the camera needs to be really really stable.
