I'm incredibly new to the ant hobby and having fun searching for queens and researching. I would love to know what would happen if you set up 2 or more founding chamber tubes to an outworld, what would happen if they were both opened at the same time? Would the nanitics be tolerant of one another and then in turn the future workers? As long as the queens were all given their own spot to stay, could you theoretically grow a mega colony? or would one of the nests decide to wage war on another? I feel like if the queens never met then maybe the workers would work together to create a megacolony. This is all with my very limited knowledge and would love to know what everyone thinks

fun discussion

It would totally depend on the species of ants. A few would merge colonies perhaps, but in most cases it would end in unnecessary carnage.

"The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer." Prov. 30:25
Keep ordinary ants in extraordinary ways.
