Does anyone have tips for blacklighting? I have mine all setup and ready to go for tonight.

Ants are cute, that's that.

Order a good, strong UV blacklight bulb off Amazon. Screw it into any lamp and shine it on a white sheet. Hang around and wait for queens to show up. That’s all there is to it basically.

Gonna add on to this, is it best to do this when nights are above 55 or 60 degrees? It could be that my black light is weak but nothing has shown up even after dark, it's currently 55 degrees

I made a version of CatsnAnts’s ant trap. I got a UV light and put it in two zip lock bags. Then I put the UV light in a baking tray and put some water in the tray. After that I put it outside for a few nights. I caught some Dark Rover ants and some Grease ants.
