Wondering why my new captured queen *June 1st Nampa Idaho * is moving cotton? Should I put some dirt or wood chips? Posible ID

Looks like Camponotus ( or Colobopsis ), from what I know, they tend to pull on the cotton at first

Looks to be small for Camponotus, but my guess is as good as anyone's.

Looks to be small for Camponotus, but my guess is as good as anyone's.
Seems the right size for a Myrmentoma queen

Doubtful. C. Hyatti are much darker, and both their head and gaster are black/brown. My guess is C. Discolor.

this is in idaho. Discolor is an eastern species.Doubtful. C. Hyatti are much darker, and both their head and gaster are black/brown. My guess is C. Discolor.hyatti ?Maybe Camponotus Discolor? Or Camponotus decipiens?

Possible species: C. Bicolor, C. Discolor, C. Sayi, and possibly C. Hyatti. The thing is, Manitobant is right. None of these species listed are native to Idaho.
