Can somebody please identify this ant?  Is it a grease ant?  It would be awesome if someone could identify the gender.  It is about 4 to 5 millimeters long.  I found it in Pasadena, CA. BEEA31A7-DF9A-42A5-BB05-14F16E7C77D8.jpeg 52665C93-9A24-4DC4-87C6-59F3377BFA57.jpeg

Solenopsis molesta group queen.

Agreed. Same size and body structure, just a little off color. That can happen sometimes with large nuptial flights with this genus.

Thanks for the identification!  That’s what I thought it was.  It has that orange color.  The weird color might be from the lighting.
