Hi, I have a pheidole colony and a aphaenogaster colony that are getting about ready for a nest (they are in a test tube right now) so I bought 2 blocks of ytong to make a nest for them. but I don't know if if ytong is a good material for them. so basically my question is can pheidole or aphaenogaster chew through ytong?

If anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated.

They might be able to but if the conditions are right and they have enough space they probably won't.
