Hey guys this is a repost of a few queens with a little bit better pictures.I'll start with my oldest one and the species still is a mystery.
Found on October 31st
Found on a mountain with little to no vegetation a day after a big rainstorm.Queen and workers are totally black.Suspected messor sp. but they seem to ignore all of the seeds my messor get crazy about and tear up meal worms and small flies. The queen even accepted a small fly when she had no workers at all and ate it whole.Even at this stage with 4 workers they ignore seeds. Will post more queens in the comments

Found on april 29th with her wings shed. She is real tiny 3-5 mm and seems to be totally black.I posted some pictures on another thread and the sp. Carebara oertzeni was mentioned although its really hard to take good pictures because of her size. She was found on the lower part of a mountain with forrests. She moves real slow and i've never seen her panic

Found on the 2nd of May.Suspected messor sp.It took her about a month in the test tube to lay eggs. She has a lot of hairs throughout her body. She has a deep red colour and is very active and ready to bite whenever the test tube is disturbed.Found on an army camp with little to no trees and big patches of grass.

1st is Aphaenogaster. 2nd is Camponotus but idk sp. 3rd is either Carebara or monomorium, again, not sure on sp. 4th seems like either messor or veromessor sp. 5th is messor sp. All these are purely guesses so correct me if I'm wrong.

YouTube: https://m.youtube.co...uKsahGliSH7EqOQ (It's pretty dead. Might upload again soon, don't expect my voice to sound the same though.)
Currently kept ant species, favorites have a star in front of their names (NOT in alphabetical order, also may be outdated sometimes): ★ Camponotus irritans inferior, ★ Ooceraea biroi, Pheidole parva, ★ Nylanderia sp., ★ Paraparatrechina tapinomoides, Platythyrea sp., Anochetus sp., Colobopsis sp. (cylindrica group), ★ Crematogaster ferrarii, Polyrhachis (Myrma) cf. pruinosa, Polyrhachis (Cyrtomyrma) laevissima, Tapinoma sp. (formerly Zatapinoma)
Death count: Probably over a hundred individual queens and colonies by now. I cannot recall whatsoever.

1) Aphaenogaster sp.
2) Camponotus(Myrmentoma) sp.
3)I personally think this could very well be a Solenopsis sp.(you have 4 in Greece if you include a subspecies.), but, C. oertzeni is still quite likely.
4) Messor sp.
5)Messor sp.
Hi there! I went on a 6 month or so hiatus, in part due, and in part cause of the death of my colonies.
However, I went back to the Sierras, and restarted my collection, which is now as follows:
Aphaenogaster uinta, Camponotus vicinus, Camponotus modoc, Formica cf. aserva, Formica cf. micropthalma, Formica cf. manni, Formica subpolita, Formica cf. subaenescens, Lasius americanus, Manica invidia, Pogonomyrmex salinus, Pogonomyrmex sp. 1, Solenopsis validiuscula, & Solenopsis sp. 3 (new Sierra variant).
