So I found this queen in my backyard just strolling around so I caught her. I live in northern California specifically South San Jose. I caught my queen on May 25th, she is black, she was not near a nest, and that's about it. Do you know what she is?

Need more info like her size and such but it looks like Camponotus Modoc or tetramorium immigrans if smaller

Need more info like her size and such but it looks like Camponotus Modoc or tetramorium immigrans if smaller

Its 100% Tetramorium immigrans. It clearly has 2 petiole nodes and a different body shape than camponotus.
