I've been out of the ant world for a couple of years after getting several colonies to 10-20 workers and losing them. Saw three of these fluttering around yesterday and figured an ant colony might excite my girlfriend's children. They're particularly small and hard to get images of, if they hadn't have had wings i'd have overlooked them entirely. About the only thing I can accurately ID are Camponotus, Formica, and Solenopsis invicta. I've had each of those as well as a Pheidole queen and this is dramatically smaller than each of those.

Thank you for your time and wisdom!

Body:
1. Huntsville Suburb Neighborhood Backyard

2. Date of collection 6/8/2021 (Yesterday)
3. Primarily flat farming plains in the Huntsville region, this backyard has decently thick shrubbery and solid shade.
4. Length Photo Included - 4mm?
5. Coloration, hue, pattern and texture: solid black, smooth
6. Distinguishing characteristics: I tragically lack the vocabulary to be useful here.
7. Anything else distinctive NA
8. Nest description NA

10 . Post the clearest pictures possible of the top, side, and face of the ant in question, and if possible, their nest and the habitat they were collected in.

Relatively small head, long wasplike antennae, large eyes and most importantly the male genetalia seen in the last photo.
