I was wondering if this bulb would attract queens? I have heard that mercury bulbs are better than blacklights and I want to try them out.

Yes, but that is a ballasted bulb, so you will need a ballast for it. Self ballasted bulbs are much more portable and easier to setup, although they are almost always coated and not clear.


You can find self ballasted on ebay and places like that.
