So, I recently ran out of fruit flies, I still have the normal house house fly things for my other pets. I was wondering if fruit flies were the same as those house flies.

Fruit flies (Drosophila) are not the same as house flies (Musca domestica).  They both should be fine food though.

Different species entirely. One is ten times bigger than the other. Both are good feeders, though.
