I need some serious help i had her for 1 month but she has not laid a single egg. she is rejecting the testube and the dirt box she just wanders around this one is her dead sister

well i moved her to a new testube she seemed to have relaxed and settled down now

well she is probably infertile cos she is curled up and dead in her testube :(

Odontomachus are semi-claustral. They need food during their founding stage, before they layed eggs and while they raise their first larvae. And they're pretty picky with what they accept as prey.

It doesn't make much sense to separate them when they're already together. Also that would split the worker force and more workers are always better for a colony. And it would probably stress the hell out of the colony.

well i filled a test tube half with sand and we will see how that goes

the ants are attracted to light and won't get in the test tubes, they have 1 larvae

the queens are in the testube but the majority of the workers are still outside

Keep the outside completely dark and the test tube extremely bright and wait 48 hrs?
