I have no idea what this is but I just caught it like 2 minutes ago around 11:45 am in my pool. It is a shiny black with a semi gold tinted gaster or abdomen. It also resembles a wasp but not sure.

Looks like some kind of bee, probably solitary

Some sort of Halictid bee. Probably soil nesting and definitely solitary.
