Ok full story. My queen ant is laying eggs. And they will soon outgrow their water bottoe

Honestly depends on species, assuming you don't have workers.  If it's Camponotus sorry to say but you're gonna have to wait a couple weeks for workers, even then they only begin "growing" in their second year.  You honestly can just use a container, preferably with some kind of substrate for traction.  Though it does depend on the species (again).

If it's Camponotus sorry to say but you're gonna have to wait a couple weeks for workers, even then they only begin "growing" in their second year. You honestly can just use a container, preferably with some kind of substrate for traction. Though it does depend on the species (again).

small no biting ants. I'm started to doubt they being fire ants

Pictures?  Also how small?  Like Brachymyrmex small or more like Lasius small?  Do you even know as a fact that they are under the subfamily Myrmicinae?

just stick with a test tube for now. once the queen gets ants, attach another test tube. once they outgrow that, you can put them in a small container with durt, or create something out of firebrick. those are the most simple ideas if you don't have money.
