Hey guys,once again I am in need of your assistance,deciding which species this queen belongs to.I know the pictures are not as good as they could be but this is the best I can do at this moment.Thank you for checking this thread
1. Location:Near Alexandroupoli (Northern Greece)
2. Date of collection: 24 of May
3. Habitat of collection: Lots of low ground vegetation,habitat almost untouched by humans
4. Length (from head to gaster):about 1.8 cm
5. Color, hue, pattern and texture:She is mostly black but her mandibles and legs have an orange tint that is not clearly depicted in the pictures
6. Distinguishing characteristics: She has one leg cut off
7. Distinguishing behavior:She wasn't really responsive once she went in the tube but today after giving her some sugar water,she started cleaning herself
9. Nuptial flight time and date:24th of May 7-8 pm on an unusually hot day
Her head reminds me of a lasius niger queen I have,just saying..Thank you for checking this thread:)(sorry for the bad pics)
