Harvester ant care (pogonomyrmex badius)

Ill be gettting my hands on some pogonomyrmex badius queens soon and would like some advice on how to care for harvester ants, any info would be appreciated.

Is nobody gonna mention the fact that this was a triple post in any of the threads? Oh well. I believe the entire Pogonomyrmex genus are absolute simps for heat and water, give 'em lots of that. Obviously they eat seeds, but it's also good to give them feeders, too. It's not mandatory for their survival but it'll definitely help with growth. I know occidentalis are the WORST at climbing smooth surfaces, so I wouldn't be surprised if badius are, too. They also sting so be careful for that. Remember to clean out their nest of any seeds every 5-7 days to prevent germination of the seeds. In the other two threads people posted very handy-dandy links so use those, too.

Pheidole Tysoni, Selonopis Molesta, Brachymyrmex Depilis, Tetramorium Immagrians, Prenolepis Imparis, Pheidole Bicirinata
