Just got this Colony from some fire-wood destined for the fire pit. Around 200 Workers and 4 Queens. I plan to give them a piece of wood to "dig into" and nest inside I want to see what they will do, plus I have an active "visible" Colony of these already. Will post pictures when I get time!

I have gotten them into their new setup and fed them. They seem to be a little bit more then 200+ for sure now that I got a look at them.

They are doing well so far. I have noticed that they really like water, so I will continue to give them tons

Myrmica love heat and humid environments. Can you post some pictures?

Sure I'll also go post some pics of Myrmica they're the pretty common here. Like the myrmicinae version of Lasius.

I will try my best to get them uploaded this weekend, I have a pretty busy schedule planned, Drinking Coffee, Staying up for 72 hrs. oh did I mention Coffee?

I decided to snoop on my ants and feed them yesterday, lifted up the food dish thing and found tons of new eggs and brood The Colony is very happy I think!
