Heyo, I'm Luca from New Mexico!
I've been antkeeping for about a year now

Anyhow, Heres my Forelius Journal!

August 27, 2020

I caught a Forelius sp. queen in a mass flight

September 13, 2020

I collected a 2 Queen bicolored Forelius colony with tons of Brood. I subsequently added the previous Forelius queen in, expecting the colony to take her in, but she was ripped to shreds.aA

March 9, 2021

After not doing much to them, and starving them for about half a year, I moved them into a Mini Hearth.

April 18, 2021
Their brood did not develop very much since March.

Their larvae finally turned into Pupae  :)

After many failed attempts, I finally combined another "bicolored" queen with this colony B) Now I have 2 queens in it.

Haha, I’m not starving then anymore. Weirdly, they don’t take Mealworms or Superworms, but they will take live food like Fruit Flies and Gnathamitermes flavipes.
