1. Location of collection: Forest  (paper company land)

2. Date of collection:  6/27/15

3. Habitat of collection: On a pine tree

4. Length (from head to gaster):  4.25 mm

5. Color, hue, pattern and texture:  Black with white stripes. maybe a yellowish stripe color

6. Distinguishing characteristics: 

7. Anything else distinctive: 

8. Nest description: couldn't find the nest but tried.

 

I put her test tube in an outworld today, i didn't know if she's clustral or not. She quickly came out and ate.. 

I'm really not sure what she is..

Camponotus sp. in the Colobopsis subgenus.

C. impressus, C. mississippiensis and C. obliquus are listed for Colobopsis in Alabama.
