Hello, an outworld for my Myrmica sp. finally arrived, however, its port is 10 mm ( and there wasn't a bigger option ), same as my tubing, while my test tubes have an opening of 15 mm, so, obviously, what I need to do is to insert PCW tube into my tube with some cotton blocking the openings, however, while attempting that with an empty tube, it was very, very hard to do, how do you guys do it? Especially without stressing the ant too much.

Try using some mounting putty to block the opening.

Hot glue could work, but some ants can chew through it in time.

I normally use adaptors or different sized tubing based on the test tube size. Places like THA and AntsCanada make test tube adaptors for various test tubes.

If the outworld is large enough, you could just set the tube in the outworld until you find a solution or until you're ready to attach a formicarium

The outworld is 100 mm by 80 mm, test tube is 150 mm

Can’t you buy stuff you need, or do they urgently need to move? You could try taping the tubes together.
