I'm going to share in this thread some pictures and videos of the Camponotus vagus colony which lives in a rotten tree stub.
I often feed the colony with sugar water and insects. If you feed them with insects they react very aggressive as you can see in the following video:

No that's normal speed during hot summer they're even faster.
